“Need One Got One” was a game developed to teach young players the importance of communication and teamwork in the sport of lacrosse. Half of the players and Coaches have balls in their stick. Players with a ball are yelling “Got One” meaning they have a ball, others are yelling “Need One” meaning they need a ball. Players flip/drop their ball into the stick of someone without a ball.
This game encourages the players to be loud and to share the ball with friends. The Library Version of "Need One Got One" emphasizes non verbal communication skills by whispering and exaggerating the motion of waving your stick to show that you are open and need the ball.

Cradle Lacrosse is designed for boys and girls ages 4-8 years old who are new to the game of lacrosse. As parents ourselves, we believe in fun, inexpensive, age-appropriate programs for our littlest players. We provide all the lacrosse equipment and have developed a Cradle curriculum focusing on building confidence, as kids learn how to cradle, scoop, catch and throw.
The Cradle curriculum was developed by University of Hartford Men’s Lacrosse coach Peter Lawrence, This unique and innovative program is designed to teach basic lacrosse techniques in a fun, engaging environment.
