CroART Lacrosse Becomes A Pioneer In Sports Management

BOSTON, MA— CroART Lacrosse has released a smart phone application that will change the way teams within the organization will communicate and grow with each other in the weeks, months, and years to follow.

The app, developed by Jake Knows, gives CroART the ability to communicate directly with everyone involved in the organization from players and parents to coaches and administrators. The CroART Lacrosse trusted group messaging app core feature gives teams and programs the power of direct communication via SMS text messaging. Members will get updates in the form of SMS text messages about everything involving the team they are on or the league they are participating in. Madison Slinker, Product Marketing Manager for Jake Knows, elaborates, “CroART needed a user friendly solution to connect people within each of their 66 programs using the one string that unites them all—communications.” She added, “The Trusted Group Messaging App Core gives the CroART Lacrosse community a secure messaging platform wherever the field may take them.”

The app also gives members the ability to learn about the latest in CroART’s programs. Users will be able to find out all the latest details from tournaments and league schedules to the latest in CroART Nation gear with the tap of a finger. The CroART Lacrosse Store App Core gives players, parents, and coaches instant access to CroART Nation helmets, sticks, and even league registrations.

“We wanted to find a way to make not only running a team but being on a team easier by building a place for our participants to communicate,” said CroART founder Tyrone Croom. “We feel with this app we have reached a place beyond where we thought we could go.”

As if communications and mobile commerce weren’t incentive enough, Slinker hints even greater features are in the works. “Jake Knows is constantly developing new functionality, designed to leverage our client’s specific growth objectives. For the CroART Lacrosse App and its members, the possibilities are endless,” said Croom.

CroART has worked to position itself as the premier avenue for people who want to play lacrosse. The organization runs leagues, tournaments, camps and clinics for all ages. The CroART Lacrosse iPhone app will now give participants another place to get involved in what has recently become known as CroART Nation. “This is where all the action takes place. Want to get in the game? You need the CroART Lacrosse App,” exhorts Slinker. The CroART Lacrosse app will be available for free on the iTunes store beginning January 9, 2012.
