DU Men’s Lacrosse Season Tickets on Sale


DENVER – Season tickets for the 2012 University of Denver men’s lacrosse team are now on sale and available for purchase. Fans have the option to purchase full-season ticket packages for $75, or experience the game from a premium seating location by purchasing season tickets in the Peter Barton Stadium Gold Club. Individual game tickets will be released in early February.

“As the Denver Pioneers gear up for the 2012 season, we hope that everyone remembers what great fun, excitement, and school spirit our 2011 ECAC Championship and run to the Final Four created at DU,” said head coach Bill Tierney. “Our games produce thrilling action, lots of scoring, and an amazing family atmosphere as we bring top Division I talent to Peter Barton Stadium. I know our coaches and players are working hard for an even better season this year and we hope that our growing legion of fans get their season tickets early to reserve their spot in witnessing what DU, the ‘Lacrosse Capital of the West,’ has in store for the 2012 campaign.”

With a donation of $250 and the purchase of a full-season ticket package, fans can experience the Peter Barton Stadium Gold Club, which offers a pre- and in-game buffet, reserved covered parking, private cash bar, mid-field seating area, game notes and the ability to purchase additional Gold Club individual tickets.

Season ticket holders have the benefits of discounted ticket prices, individual game pre-sale, a personal account manager and access to the season ticket holder hotline.

The Pioneers are the 2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions and ECAC Tournament Champions. This season will include six regular season home games played at the Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. The season ticket package also includes the Pioneers’ game against the Duke University Blue Devils in the inaugural Mile High Classic at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
