Dyna-Claws Equipment Review

Review Written By Nicholas Condon

Hello there fellow campers! My name is Nick Condon, you may have recognized me from my work in the Camp Hope promotional video! If you guys don’t like Heavyweights then I advise not to read this review, but, if you do, then stay right here. The season is upon us! For those college players reading this at the NCAA and MCLA level you should be close to finishing up your first month of practice. For the high school players about to brave the cold, God speed.

Now I’m not here to talk about which team has the best flow, whether or not the new box size will affect the game, or how sick Mike Sawyer is, but rather a product that I’ve had the pleasure of trying out and using myself. The fine gentleman here at LPG published an article about Dyna-Claws. Dyna-Claws is a revolutionary lacrosse/football attachment for any players arsenal. Now you’re probably asking me, “Nick, these look like golf spikes?” Or, “Why Green?” … I asked myself this too. The color doesn’t matter, there will be team colors coming so don’t you worry.

Shout out to @Azem03 for modelling

Now for the golf spike part, this intrigued me. When you run on them they flatten out and almost grab the ground when you take a step. They give you the most mobility that you can get whether playing on field on grass. I’ve used screw-ins, molded cleats, and the occasional turf dogs just like the next guy, but these are above and beyond the best I’ve ever used. The game changer for me was how easy it was to take them on and off. I started using them on the Summer circuit and I could change them out before a game in 5 minutes at the longest. On grass I have much better traction than I would with my normal attachments.

Dry field, wet turf, wet grass or playing out in Vail, these things make a difference. Am I here to sell these things to you? No. I’m not licensed to do that plus this is just a review. These are a must have. The guys at Dyna-Claws have some great minds and so far have multiple D1 football schools (Clemson, TCU, Baylor, Dartmouth, Texas A&M, Miami of Ohio, South Carolina) as well as a lot of lacrosse teams starting to test them out. Your team should consider it too!
