Easton Lacrosse Unveils New Helmet and Gloves at Lake Placid Lacrosse Classic

When the Powells step onto a field, everyone hears about it. Days ago, we got word that Casey and Mike Powell would be suiting up for team Burnt Orange (Syracuse alumni) at the Lake Placid Lacrosse Classic, so we sent an intern up to New York. When we received pictures back from our minion on the ground, we got a lot more than we had anticipated. Not only did we get pics of Casey and Mike Powell, but we also got pics of the newest Easton Lacrosse gear.

The Advanced Concept helmet is revolutionary. The helmet features enrooted chinstraps to eliminate the buckles coming undone from a slash. In addition, which is the coolest feature about the product, the helmet is fully adjustable on the back panel and can be taken off by extending the middle cabin on the helmet.

The Headwrapz helmet decals make the helmet pop and adds a lot of flare. Also, notice the multiple air vents on top of the helmet.

The Core gloves are very different and much softer than the first generation Stealth gloves. The focus is on fit and comfort and are mid-priced. Also, Core gloves will be customizable.

What do you guys think? Isn’t the future bright for Easton Lacrosse?

I don’t  really like the easton helmets because there is just way to much going on. Cascades are so smooth and they just flow.

The gloves look old school, and not in a good way. From the pics, it looks like the sight lines are restricted, compared to Cascades. It’d be nice if they opened up the sight lines a bit, more like a boxlax helmet.

the reason easton helmets will never be like cascade is that cascade has a ton of patents on the designs of their helmets. eastons just trying to make something new and revolutionary and well see how it works out

ya Easton is trying something different, problem is when Cascade takes these ideas and makes them 50 times better with a newer helmet of their own a year or 2 from now.

like jeff said easton is doing something different, i freaking love that, i actualy tryed to get a raptor but it got recalled, i think everyones problem is they are so used to cascade and warrior and brine that they dotn want to accept another company into the game of gear

its better then the raptor. i like that easton is pushing the envelope on new ideas for helmets. they maybe aren’t as  good than cascade, but it’s good for the sport and for protection
