Minneapolis, MN — November 14, 2014 — Epoch Lacrosse today debuted a custom designed Dragonfly Gen.5 C30 shaft for its first endorsed athlete, Ty Thompson. The Ty Pro Stock shaft features a clean white base color with subtle purple Dragonfly logos, thin pinstripes and the Hiawatha wampum belt used in the Iroquois flag.

“I never imagined growing up that I would ever have the chance to help design a stick, or even have one named after me,” said Ty Thompson. “The guys at Epoch really nailed it from the colors they used to where they placed the wampum belt and also my name.”

“Ty and only a hand full of players will have the opportunity compete with this amazing stick,” said James Miceli, Principal at Epoch Lacrosse. “We wanted to give him a shaft that symbolically represents our new relationship while also honoring the heritage of our great sport.”

Less than thirty of the Ty Pro Stock shafts were manufactured and will only be made available through online contests and promotions this winter. If you want one, make sure to follow Epoch on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
