Epoch Lacrosse Announces Their Custom Shaft Program

Epoch Lacrosse is pleased to announce the launch of their Custom Shaft Program. This program was created to get the world’s most technologically advanced lacrosse shafts in the hands of players who would like to show their affiliation to a team or league without having to sacrifice quality or durability.

Offered in both their alloy and carbon fiber shafts, the models available for customization are the C30, WC-32F, R40, R60, WS-32, C3075 and the C6075. Epoch offers their custom shaft program through authorized dealers only.

Northstar Lacrosse, one of Epoch’s authorized dealers, participated in the beta test program and designed the below shafts for the Blake Bears of Minneapolis, MN.

“We are very excited for the Epoch Lacrosse Custom Program,” says Ian Flam, owner of Northstar Lacrosse. “We have been involved with Epoch from the very beginning. Their Dragonfly shafts are selling extremely well and their custom program fills a void in our game. Having a top-of-the-line shaft available as 100% custom is what players want today. It was the missing piece.”

Brian Hochman, designer for Northstar Lacrosse, added “We worked with the players from The Blake School on design concepts. They provided us with their logos and school colors. We offered them two to three design variations for them to choose from; it was a really easy process.”

Epoch offers 100% custom designed shafts along with the flexibility to order a minimum of twelve shafts in mixed and matched lengths. Once the artwork is approved, the shafts will be delivered in approximately 45 days. Even more, Epoch offers the same one year warranty as their standard shafts.

“During the development of this program, it was important that we didn’t limit the creativity of our customers. We didn’t want to simply offer a template or color variation of our standard shafts. For each design, we create custom decals for the graphics, which allows for a high level of detail and durability versus a conventional wrap. Each shaft is painted and completed by hand. We use the same process for custom shafts as we do for our standard shafts,” says James Miceli, owner of Epoch Lacrosse.
