Win the First 2013 Dragonfly!

You’re looking at a sneak peek of Epoch Lacrosse’s 2013 line of Dragonfly shafts. Still the same Dragonfly’s you know and love, but these shafts are even lighter than their predecessors and boast some sick, updated cosmetics.

From Friday, May 25th to Friday, June 1st, Epoch is giving one lucky person the opportunity to win the very first 2013 Dragonfly shaft before they even hit stores. All you have to do, is visit https://www.facebook.com/Epochlax/app_149339398532229 and vote on the shaft you like the best. Once the contest is over, Epoch will randomly select a winner from the shaft that received the most votes over the course of the week.

For 2013, Epoch kept the core the same, but updated the design, material and manufacturing techniques that have put them at the forefront in shaft technology. They improved their Advanced Carbon Layering with the introduction of ACL II, which allows them to manipulate various aspects of a shaft, such as flex (stiffness) and weight to ensure Optimal Feel. They are also introducing their Slip/Grip II, an enhanced clear coat texture that is more resistant to wear and tear. Along with this, Epoch is introducing two new cross sections to allow each individual player to find a shaft that feels right for them.

So go vote for your favorite at https://www.facebook.com/Epochlax/app_149339398532229. Remember to tell your friends, because the more votes, the more exciting the race will be.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
