FOGO Lacrosse, Inc. Announces Two Summer Camp Dates For 2012

BALTIMORE CITY, MARYLAND – April 5, 2012 – FOGO Lacrosse announced their Summer Face-Off Camp schedule this week. Currently the schedule includes only two camps, both of which will be held in Maryland at the Gerstell Academy.

FOGO Lacrosse will kick off the summer season with a camp to be held June 15th through June 17th, which will give previous campers and newcomers a chance to improve their technique prior to a summer presumably filled with recruiting camps and tournaments. The second camp is scheduled for August 11th through the 13th.

Both camps will be run by Alex Smith and David Tamberrino and will utilize their popular format focusing on face-off technique and heavy competition. Instruction ranges from the basics to the most advanced face-off techniques currently being used in college and at the professional level. Additionally, attendees will be taught Alex’s signature pinch ‘n’ pop technique that helped him create offensive fast breaks and gave him full control over the placement of the ball throughout his career.

“If it appears that camps may near the point of over-subscription, we have set aside the weekend of July 14th and 15th for an additional two day camp with a format similar to our winter camps,” said Alex Smith. “There also remains the possibility of a September camp in California, however details and exact dates are not yet determined.”
