Former College Coaches Unite to Form College Lacrosse Recruiting

Skillman , NJ September 9, 2011- Tony Seaman and Jim Stagnitta, directors of Top 205 and MVP Team Tournaments, have partnered to create PreGame Lacrosse LLC. Built with a team of experienced professionals PreGame Lacrosse provides a roadmap to guide students and parents through the college lacrosse recruiting process by offering one-day evaluation and assessment opportunities, along with an educational seminar, in towns located throughout the United States.

Tony Seaman and Jim Stagnitta have a combined 60 years of experience as college recruiters and coaches at the division l, lll and Ivy League levels. PreGame is a unique combination of evaluation, assessment and education to help student athletes and their parents jump-start and navigate the college lacrosse recruiting process.

PreGame will launch a national tour beginning in October, stopping in cities throughout the country, bringing both education and evaluation to the players in one-day events. This is accomplished with a staff of former college coaches who will provide players with an unbiased individual evaluation and assessment. PreGame professionals will also conduct comprehensive recruiting seminars at each location to allow for families to plan and maximize their recruiting experience. Players will walk away with a full evaluation of their skill level and what they can expect as they face the recruiting process.

Founding partner Jim Stagnitta has 24 years of college lacrosse head coaching experience and describes how Pregame evolved. ” Tony and I felt from our experience as coaches, recruiters and directors of lacrosse exposure camps that the mystery and confusion of the recruiting process was one of the greatest challenges facing players and families. Questions like, what do college coaches really think of me? Or simply, how do we proceed through the process? Were questions we were asked on a regular basis. We created PreGame to help address these questions and take the mystery and confusion out of the process for players and parents”

PreGame offers more than single day events. There are many options available and more comprehensive individual programs. Please visit www.pregamelacrosse.com for a full list of services, check tour dates and locations and to register.

Comprehensive play and skill evaluations, combined with the educational component can provide a clear roadmap to navigating the ever-changing lacrosse recruiting process.

Founded in 2011 by former college lacrosse coaches Jim Stagnitta and Tony Seaman, PreGame Lacrosse is a full-service college lacrosse recruiting consulting service. Criss-crossing the nation, PreGame hosts one-day events bringing their expertise to high school lacrosse players, offering full player assessments and evaluations along with an educational college lacrosse-recruiting seminar for both players and parents. Additionally, PreGame Lacrosse offers comprehensive, personalized individual college lacrosse recruiting consulting and preparation.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
