Loyola University Maryland Men’s Lacrosse – Frazier, Sherlock Earn USILA All-America Honors

BALTIMORE — Senior defender Pat Frazier and sophomore midfielder Brian Sherlock were named earned United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America Honorable Mention on Thursday.

The duo were All-Patriot League First Team honorees and members of the 12-player Academic All-Patriot League Team. They are the 166th and 167th All-Americans in Loyola history.

Frazier, who earned his bachelor of business administration from Loyola on Saturday and has begun his professional career with the Florida Launch. He was a three-year starter for the Greyhounds on close defense after starting his career as a walk-on in 2012. He made 46-straight starts for Loyola and concluded his career with 101 ground balls and 42 caused turnovers.

This season, Frazier twice earned Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors and was named the USILA National Defensive Player of the Week in February. He posted 49 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers as a senior for Loyola.

Earlier this week, he was named a USILA Scholar All-American, and he was selected to the USILA North-South All-Star Game that will be played Sunday.

Sherlock. is a two-time All-Patriot League First Team honoree through two seasons at Loyola. This year, he was the top goal scoring midfielder in the Patriot League, finishing the year with 29 goals, a total that puts him amongst the top-10 scoring midfielders in the nation.

He also had 19 assists this season to finish the year with 48 points, second most on the team. In two seasons with the Greyhounds, he has scored 48 goals and has 29 assists for 77 points.
