Frederick Men’s Lacrosse Summer Squad Gear

The Frederick Men’s Lacrosse Association was designed to give adult players opportunities to play throughout the summer and was started in 2010. By 2011, in conjunction with Erik Holt, who is a Freemason and avid lacrosse player, they were able to organize the Freemason Lacrosse Tournament. This team is composed of players from a plethora of colleges including Mary Washington, Marymount, St.Mary, Lycoming, Gwynedd- Mercy, Robert Morris University, University of MD Club and Randolph Macon, as well as few others. In 2011 they played in the Freemason, Laxtoberfest and the Frostburg Freeze. In 2012 they are playing in the Freemason, as well as the OC Classic, Laxtoberfest, and the Frostburg Freeze. In regards to the uniform, Chris Richter states, “We wanted to take the MD flag and do something different with it. So we made some changes and let Jerry from ProAthletics go with it. As always he did a great job. We are also in the process of getting helmet wraps designed by Gorilla Wrapz for the Freemason Lacrosse tournament.”

For more info on the team visit their Website, Fan Page and of course Twitter.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
