Tuesday night, the Boys’ Latin Lakers routed the St. Stephen’s Saints at Georgetown University 14-4. Last year, the Saints upset the team from Baltimore, but the Lakers were too much to handle this time around. Two Stanwicks, count ‘em two, captured most of the attention last night under the lights. The Lakers scored 7 unanswered goals in the first 10 minutes, with Wells Stanwick scoring one of those and assisting on the other 6. He finished with 3 goals and 6 assists. Shack Stanwick finished 2 and 1.
Boy’s Latin wore White Riddell lids with Maroon visors. Maroon tops and bottoms. The Saints wore all White with Red accents throughout including shoe laces.
