The Penn men’s lacrosse team mounted a furious second-half comeback Saturday at No. 10 Cornell, but the Big Red’s Roy Lang scored off a feed from David Lau in overtime to secure a 13-12 Cornell victory at Schoellkopf Field.
The loss dropped Penn to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the Ivy League. Cornell improved to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in league play.
The Quakers wore the same Pro7 helmets from 2010 and new Navy Blue K18 gloves. They also wore Under Armour Mercenary cleats. Cornell donned CPX-R helmets with the 2011 STX Assault line of gloves and padding.
