Glory Hound Introduces Limited Edition Exotic Wood Shafts

Glory Hound Lacrosse has introduced a limited edition Exotic Wood series of field shafts; durable Ash sandwiched between rich layers of Cocobolo, Padauk or Zebra Wood.

“As an extension of our exclusive Cherry display shafts, we wanted to offer a customized shaft that players and coaches could take on the field,” says Derek Craig of Glory Hound. “We’ve introduced solid Ash, Oak and traditional Hickory shafts and these exotics take it to the next level by featuring beautiful woods on a functional handle.”

Glory Hound’s shafts can be engraved with names, teams and logos to celebrate an MVP, thanks a coach, or just let people know who to be jealous of. Exotic wood shafts are produced in small batches and new woods will be introduced throughout the year.

Field shafts range from $29.99-89.99. Visit www.gloryhoundlax.com for more information on Glory Hound’s full line of custom engraved lacrosse sticks, balls and frames.

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
