SAN MATEO, CALIF. (MAY 20, 2015) – GoPro, Inc. (NASDAQ:GPRO), enabler of some of today’s most engaging content, today announced lacrosse icon Paul Rabil (@PaulRabil) as the first signed team sports ambassador for the brand. In conjunction with the announcement, GoPro has launched GoPro: Paul Rabil – Do One More, an original production featuring Rabil, showcasing his unique point of view, philosophy and play of the game. Behind the scenes of the shoot are also now available on Rabil’s social channels.

As an ambassador, Rabil will use GoPro cameras to capture unique points of view never before seen in lacrosse and help bring greater exposure to the sport he has dedicated his life to. Rabil’s content will be used for entertainment and instructional purposes, showcasing immersive video from play on the field, strength and conditioning training, practice drills and his travels around the world for the sport.

A six-time All-Star and two-time MLL MVP, Paul Rabil is the face of one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Selected first overall in the 2008 MLL Draft, the New York Lizards star graduated from Johns Hopkins University as the career points leader in the NCAA playoffs and as the school’s all-time leading point and goal scorer as a midfielder. A member of Team USA, Rabil was named to the 2014 FIL World Championship All-World Team with Outstanding Midfield honors. Off the field, Rabil established the Paul Rabil Foundation, which is committed to helping children with learning differences by creating programs and partnerships through sport and scholarship.
