Harrow Sports to become the official equipment supplier of UC Davis Women’s Lacrosse


DENVER – Harrow Sports today announced an official partnership with UC Davis to be the official sponsor of women’s lacrosse equipment for the Aggies.

“UC Davis has a high caliber program and we believe this partnership will have an immediate positive impact for our brand”, said Mark Hayden, Harrow Chairman and CEO. “This further demonstrates Harrow’s commitment to aligning elite athletes with the most innovative equipment in the market. We are excited to support Kate Henwood as she takes the helm as the new Aggies head coach.”

The partnership will begin in 2012 and will last through the 2015 season. The UC Davis Aggies will use Harrow as its main supplier of women’s lacrosse equipment.

Besides leading the nation in draw controls, the 2011 Aggies ranked third in Division I with 15.53 goals per game, shattering their previous school record by more than a goal per game.The Aggie’s also scored 21 or more goals five times, including 22 vs. LIU on Mar. 27. Kate Henwood, formerly the top assistant at Villanova and most recently the head coach at Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, Pa., has been named as head coach for UC Davis women’s lacrosse.
