Inside Landon Lacrosse: The 2013 Season

Recent graduates in the class of 2013 at Landon School, Allen Kleiner and John Bair, documented the lacrosse team for their Senior project. They specifically focused on the 2013 season and the cool aspects that accompany playing for Landon — pride, alumni, coaches, players, etc…

Landon, based in Bethesda, MD, started its season ranked 9th in the country and ended it with a 7-5 loss in the IAC championship game against St. Stephens. Kleiner and Bair take a look at the tradition, excellence, and brotherhood that is so essential in the fabric of the 28 time IAC champion team, and how the 2013 Seniors helped continue this legacy.

Take a glimpse into what it means to not only be a Landon Bear, but what lacrosse means to the people of Washington, DC.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
