Jake Seau Legitimizes Our Claim from April, The Next Face of Lacrosse

It’s hard to mention Jake Seau without bringing up his late father, Junior. But, the son of 12-time NFL Pro Bowl linebacker is creating his own legacy. Earlier this month, Jake tore up the competition at the Terrapin Classic. The Duke commit pummeled and ripped it like a big time player.

In April, we wrote:

You may think I’m getting way ahead of myself here, but I’m a good judge of talent. Does he resemble a certain #99?

Watch this clip (wearing #24) from earlier in the year and let us know what you think.

The Junior from the Bishop’s School in California will be the next big thing. It’s in his blood to dominate. The 6′ 2″, 190-pound midfielder is bound for greatness. Keep an eye or two on his developing career.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
