Juega El Mundo: Service, Surf, Lax and Spanish

Interested in using lacrosse as a vehicle for change while gaining valuable global experience?

Global Player’s newest short-term program in Central America is perfect for anyone who wishes to not only improve their worldly sense, but also have a profound impact on the global community. Learn Spanish through one on one instruction, surf the Pacific, bring in the New Year Latin-style, volunteer, train with other collegiate athletes and most importantly give back to the game that has given so much to you.

Growing off the success of programs in both Prague and Amsterdam, Global Players has united efforts with Rodrigo Pascual and his organization Manos Amigas, to launch an incredibly unique Winter abroad program. Manos Amigas uses lacrosse to promote non-violence and fun through development of interpersonal skills; leadership, communication, and wellbeing. Whether you are a current collegiate athlete, post-grad, a coach or just a lacrosse enthusiast looking to make a difference this is a movement worth joining.

Created by athletes, for athletes, Global Players is the first of its kind, pairing global enrichment programming with sports-specific training and development. The Global Players alumni base is comprised of more than 100 student athletes from universities all over the country who have taken the leap, given back, and are now leveraging their experience from the field to the workplace. Take the chance yourself and become a part of this elite network of global student-athletes. It will undoubtedly change your life while you change the lives of others.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
