LACROSSE ASSOCIATION OF KANSAS CITY ANNOUCES HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENT PLAY-OFF FIELD

The Lacrosse Association of Kansas City (LAKC) is pleased to announce that the annual high school varsity lacrosse tournament begins on Saturday, May 16 and will conclude with the LAKC Championship Lacrosse game on May 29 at 7:30 pm at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Durwood Stadium.
First round quarterfinal games include Olathe South at Rockhurst at 10 am on May 16; Pembroke Hill at Shawnee Mission East at 5:30 pm on May 18; Lee’s Summit West at Olathe East at 7 pm on May 20; and Blue Valley North at Blue Valley West at 8 pm on May 20.
The winners of the quarterfinal games will meet in the LAKC semifinals on May 27 at UMKC’s Durwood Stadium. Game times are 5:30 and 8:15. The LAKC Championship game will be on May 29 at 7:30, also at Durwood Stadium.
The LAKC is comprised of 12 high school varsity level club teams from both Kansas and Missouri. Rockhurst High School is the defending LAKC champion.
