Lacrosse Evolution Goes “Jersey Shore” This Summer

King of Prussia, PA — May 10, 2010 — Lacrosse Evolution (www.LaxEvo.com), the leader in lacrosse education and training in the Delaware Valley, today announced it will be hitting the road and holding camps this Summer at the Jersey shore and in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Tom Slate and Lacrosse Evolution Director and MLL professional lacrosse player Ryan Cranston have assembled a world class staff of professional and collegiate players and coaches to help players improve their skills and knowledge of America’s fastest growing sport. New for 2011 will be two position specific camps featuring instruction from MLL standouts Kyle Sweeney, John Christmas, Max Siebald, Brian Dougherty, Scott Rodgers and Ryan Flanagan.

Lacrosse Evolutions position specific camps will focus on skills work for midfielders, attackman, defenseman and goalies. The goal for all of Lacrosse Evolutions camps and at its instructional facilities is to give each player a distinct advantage the next time they step onto the field.

“Lacrosse has given me so much in life,” said Tom Slate. “Everyone at Lacrosse Evolution feels it is our responsibility to share what we have learned with the next generation of players. The only way lacrosse is going to maintain its current state of growth and become a viable sport is for us to share what we have learned with today’s young players and emphasize that they in turn must pass on what they have learned to help grow the game.”

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
