Lacrosse Evolution (LaxEvo) Announces FREE Girls and Boys Coaches Clinics

King of Prussia, PA – February 10, 2011 – Lacrosse Evolution (www.LaxEvo.com), the leader in lacrosse education and training in the Delaware Valley, today announced it will hold two FREE interactive girls and boys youth coaches clinics on Sunday, March 13th (Downingtowngirls 7-8p.m. and boys 8-9p.m.) and Saturday, March 5th (King of Prussiagirls 12-1:30 p.m. and boys 1:30-3 p.m.). Tom Slate, Lacrosse Evolution’s founder, defensive coordinator for the NLL’s Philadelphia Wing’s and the new head coach of the MLL Denver Outlaws, and his staff of notable collegiate greats and current professional lacrosse players will be working with area coaches to help them prepare for the 2011 season. The clinics will include a session on how to teach great defense, drills to improve attacking skills, helpful goalie tips from 2010 Team USA goalie Brian Dougherty and valuable information on how to structure a practice. Local boys and girls high school players will also be on-hand to demonstrate live on the field what is being drawn up on the white marker boards. LaxEvo’s interactive coaches clinics are formatted to encourage the free flow of conversation and will include Q&A time at the end of each instructional session. The clinics are open to all coaches and those wishing to participate should e-mail [email protected] with how many coaches will be attending and the name of your group.
