The 2013 NCAA® Men’s Lacrosse Championship takes place this weekend at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. and Mike Powell, four-time NCAA First Team All-American, will be on-site to meet fans at the Capital One Cup Fan Zone. Powell will sign autographs and watch fans put their skills to the test, performing sports drills and other interactive experiences on Saturday, May 25 from 12 PM to 4 PM and Monday, May 27 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
The Capital One Cup Fan Zone is located in the NCAA® LaXperience Fan Fest, one of the hottest places to be during the Championship weekend. In the Fan Zone, fans of all ages can showcase their speed and accuracy skills at such lacrosse activities as Rocket Shot and Hot Shot, while football enthusiasts can attempt to catch the winning pass at the Football Receiver Challenge. Fans can also get their face painted at Spray Fan to showcase their team spirit.
Capital One is also providing the opportunity for a few lucky fans to enter to win upgraded tickets at select NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship games. Throughout LaXperience Fan Fest, fans will be encouraged to upload their most spirited photos to #CupGameFace via Twitter or Instagram, and one winner will be selected at random each day to receive two upgraded tickets to that day’s game. Keep your eyes open for this exciting opportunity!
Bragging rights are on the line at the Men’s Lacrosse Championship as the winner will earn 60 points toward the Capital One Cup, bringing their school one step closer to winning the Capital One Cup and $200,000 in student-athlete scholarships.
