TOWSON, Md. – Max Greene scored three goals while Chris Walsch and Chase Wittich added two goals apiece to lead Gilman School (MD) to a 9-5 victory over Georgetown Prep in the nightcap of the 2nd annual Lacrosse Playground Spring Classic at Towson University.

William McBride and Peter Brown each scored one for the 12th-ranked Greyhounds (3-0), while Tyler Ruhl and Zeke Morrill contributed two assists each.

Tanner Holifield (2-3) led the Hoyas with two goals while Bear Altemus , Brendan Collins and Jack Olsen each scored once.


“The Georgetown Prep game is always a good one for us,” said Gilman coach Brooks Matthews. “We know we are going to get a good test. We put in a workman like effort tonight and I’m pleased with the result.”
