Rihanna’s much anticipated video for We Found Love has finally found its place on the web today. The song, itself, is a big move in the right direction for Rihanna, but the video is a different story. A Chris Brown lookalike (Dudley O’Shaughnessy) plays Rihanna’s love interest, and together, they live a drug-fueled, topsy-turvy, and abusive life together. The graphic video, which is filmed amazingly, shines a light on the darker and sunnier sides of love. Or is it lust? Yet, Rihanna should stay clear from abusive language and abusive cinematic portrayals for obvious reasons.

I can’t help but be reminded of the methadone riddled movie Trainspotting and a sick, sick, sick movie called Candy, which stars Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish. If you ever want to laugh and smile, then don’t watch either movie.
