LB3 Lacrosse Hires Brian Silcott as COO

Atlanta, GA – February 8, 2012 – LB3 Lacrosse is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Silcott to the LB3 Team. Silcott, most recently the Mens Game Director at US Lacrosse, will take over all day-to-day operations at LB3 including LB3 Camps, Clinics, Tournaments, Leagues and Travel Teams.

A former MLL and NLL player (1994 to 2005), Silcott was also NCAA Midfielder of the Year, 1st Team All American and National Champion while at Nazareth College. He has both managed and coached in the college and professional lacrosse ranks, and founded and grew Rhino Lacrosse LLC into the premier lacrosse instructional organization in the Northwestern US between 2006 and 2008.

“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Brian’s stature join LB3” said Liam Banks. “Not only was Brian a great player and coach at the highest levels of the game, but he also brings a wealth of lacrosse industry experience and knowledge to LB3 which will be invaluable as we continue to grow the instructional lacrosse programs we offer and the places we offer them.”

“For me, this opportunity is far more than just a job” said Brian Silcott. “I am moving to Atlanta to build something special with Liam and LB3. There are lots of folks out there running lacrosse programs. Our plan is quite simply to do it better. Liam and I have been friends for a long time and have worked together many times in the past. I believe in the way he teaches the game. We always push each other to work harder on and off the field. I’m also excited at the prospect of directly influencing the development of young players. It’s in my DNA, and my involvement recently has been more indirect.”
