Little Rock Lacrosse Club

Arkansas is hardly known as a hot bed for lacrosse. However former University of Arkansas attackman Rett Thompson and Washington and Lee alum Lisa Jones plan to bring lacrosse in a big way to the capital city of “The Natural State” by creating a non-profit organization: LRLC (Little Rock Lacrosse Club).

LRLC starts off with an impressive cast of supporters including Liam Banks, former Syracuse star and Warrior/Brine Representative, Hendrix College Mens Lacrosse Team (DIII), Harding University Mens Lacrosse Team, John Denery (Hobart ’95) and others, all helping lacrosse grow amongst youth in the Central Arkansas region.

Recently LRLC received a generous donation from the guys at Warrior and Brine of 12 Brine “Recruit” mens lacrosse sticks. As well as a generous donation from the UVA womens team of over 15 womens sticks. Check out the logo and the gear…

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
