LSU Men’s Lacrosse Gear, The Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate Lacrosse Classic

LSU is known for football, frat daddies, and mud bugs. However, there’s a new team on campus looking to be BMOC. The LSU Men’s Lacrosse team is rapidly becoming a well-organized team, and by the looks of it, they’ve been on top of their game. This season, they’ll be rockin’ Purple and Gold hard! Purple and Gold Cascade Pro7 lids, Purple and Gold STX K18 gloves with a Tiger logo on the cuff, Pruple and Gold STX equipment bags, and swaggin’ Purple, Gold, and White home and away uniforms.

Where can you find LSU’s team this season? The Allstate Sugar Bowl is sponsoring a full day of lacrosse at Pan Am Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 25. The Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate Lacrosse Classic will feature a pair of college lacrosse games: LSU and Ole Miss meet at 3:30 p.m. and Arizona State and Texas will clash at 6 p.m. In addition, there will be two high school lacrosse games to open the day with Brother Martin playing Caddo Magnet at 9 a.m. and Loyola Prep and Baton Rouge Catholic in action at noon.

Admission to the full day of lacrosse action is $10. Click here for more information about The Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
