Superman: Man of Steel will be released this month – wait for it – next year. It is directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan, so it should be good. Superman has always been one of the most inspiring superheroes.
Here’s the all too familiar plot for Superman:
A child sent to Earth from a dying planet is adopted by a couple in rural Kansas. Posing as a journalist, he uses his extraordinary powers to protect his new home from an insidious evil.
The two teasers feature familiar voices as the leading role played by Henry Cavill wanders around a fishing town in Alaska and we catch snippets of a presumed Smallville. The first one has a voiceover from Russell Crowe who plays Superman’s biological father, whereas the second teaser has Kevin Costner who plays his adoptive father. It’s not too confusing. Listen to the words as both fathers send a message to their child.
