Maryland Lacrosse to Unveil Military Appreciation Jerseys Against UVA?

Maryland Athletics – This Sunday, March 30th at Noon, your 4th-ranked Maryland Terrapins Men’s Lacrosse Team will take on heated-rival Virginia at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. This will be the LAST-EVER home game against the 8th-ranked Cavaliers as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference and the matchup will be crucial in determining who will take home the ACC regular season title. Earlier this season, a HUGE crowd against Duke helped propel Maryland to victory over the Blue Devils, and the Terps need your support again this weekend! The game will serve as Military Appreciation Day and as Under Armour’s Freedom Game, during which the Terps will be unveiling special, new uniforms. You will not want to miss this historic matchup! Be sure to get to the stadium early to enjoy the festivities on the concourse including inflatables and giveaways. To avoid ticket lines, purchase your print-at-home tickets in advance by visiting umterps.com, or by calling 1.800.IM.A.TERP.

Saturday’s game happens to be military appreciation day, so will the unis be military-themed? The Maryland Football team wore these Wounded Warrior Project jerseys in 2011 (pictured above). Should the lacrosse team go the same route?
