Taylor University is wearing Matte Purple Warrior TII Lacrosse Helmets with a lightweight Gold Chrome facemask. The team’s choice of helmet is similar to Denver’s Hydrographic helmet.

This past fall, the team established a partnership with Warrior Lacrosse. Partnering with Warrior has been viewed as a true blessing for the program. The equipment needs have been met and now the players can focus on their team goals.

Taylor’s Brett Ladley states that, “Our program’s main goal is to win a national championship. In my time being here at Taylor, we never truly believed that we had what it took to win nationals. Coach West and Coach Patrone continue to encourage us to believe in our team and our mission.” Ladley continues, “I now sincerely believe that we have the potential to win an MCLA national championship. Our program will continue to improve as we grow and expand. As a Senior graduating this May, I’m very excited for what is to come.”

About our Taylor University
Taylor University is a Christian, liberal-arts institution located about an hour north of Indianapolis in Upland, Indiana. The lacrosse program at Taylor has been established for over a decade going through various stages of growth. Currently, our team competes in the CCLA and we are part of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). In the spring of 2012, Taylor University made a major commitment to the lacrosse program by hiring Chey West as the head coach. Coach West has brought with him value and judgment that our program has not had before. With Coach West came our assistant coach Dan Patrone. Coach Patrone brings insight into our defense along with strength and conditioning knowledge for off-season training. Along with our new coaches, our program is now actively recruiting with the intentions of a roster size around 35-40 players. Like the team on Facebook and follow them on twitter – @TULacrosse

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
