Xcelerate prides itself on challenging campers to improve their skills and overall team play. Xcelerate’s coaching staff evaluates the talent levels of all of its campers the first day of camp and places them into smaller groups of similar skill levels and age groups to provide them with individual and team instruction. Throughout the camp week, campers build on their knowledge and gain confidence in their game, while having a lot of fun in the process. Every field position is covered at Xcelerate’s camps: Attack, Midfield, Face-Off, Defense, and Goalie.

“We are committed as a company to sharing our knowledge of lacrosse and growing the game of lacrosse nationally as well as internationally,” said John Gagliardi, founder and President of Maverik Lacrosse. “Steve and his staffs dedication to helping kids and growing the sport of lacrosse in non-traditional areas of the country is what attracted us to partner with Xcelerate.”

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
