New York, November 23, 2012 – Maverik Lacrosse today unveiled the A1 shaft, the lightest shaft it has ever offered at 5.4 ounces. The A1 is the direct result of countless hours of testing at Maverik’s research and development center with real world input from the best lacrosse players in the world. Maverik’s engineers tested numerous aircraft grade alloys and ultimately selected A1rium, a proprietary alloy blend for its overall lightweight, strength, and durability. The A1 also features Maverik’s aggressive concave shape with GRIT GRIP technology, a heavily bead-blasted surface texture for enhanced control.
