Maverik Wonderboy Mens Goalie Lacrosse Shaft

The Maverik Wonderboy Mens Goalie Lacrosse Shaft is made of 9000 series aluminum / titanium alloy and is intended for all levels of use. This lightweight and durable lacrosse shaft features an extreme concave octagon shape. This goalie shaft has an unparalleled combo of strength, lightness, durability and appearance.

One of the many cool things about this shaft is the raised grip. It is subtle, but if you look closely you can see Maverik insignia along the flat side of the shaft. The White graphics are towards the bottom while the raised, almost naked, graphics are by the top of the handle.

The Carolina Blue fits the LPG color scheme very well. Unfortunately, the Wonderboy goalie shafts are only available in Chrome. So this is truly one of a kind.

Detailed from top to bottom. Check out the Maverik crest on the butt end.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

Actually if you are a goalie you tape closer to the head. You tape your shaft where you place your hands. I have played goalie my whole life and have never taped at the bottom unless I want to tape around my butt end cap.
