(Baltimore, Md.)– Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc. announced today MedStar Union Memorial Hospital will serve as the official medical provider of the 2012 Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic. The seventh annual event features 88 of the nation’s top boys and girls high school seniors and takes place June 30th at Towson University.
Lee Corrigan, president of Corrigan Sports Enterprises, said, “It’s great to continue our strong partnership with MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. All of our athletes can be assured they will receive the best medical treatment the area has to offer.”
“We’re proud to be chosen as this event’s official medical provider for the third consecutive year,” said Lew Lyon, Ph.D., Vice President of MedStar Sports Medicine. “These athletes have our comprehensive team of sports medicine physicians, therapists and certified athletic trainers available to them all weekend.”
A full weekend of events is scheduled, highlighted by the All-America boys showcase live on ESPNU at 8 p.m. The girls face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday as well.
The event also features elite players from the graduating classes of 2013, 2014 and 2015. Boys and girls from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Upstate NY and Washington, D.C. and West faceoff in a three-day Underclassmen All-Star tournament (June 29th – July 1st).
