With favorites such as Syracuse (2) and Maryland (3) out of the contest, it looks like Virginia’s (1) road to a championship is looking closer. After the death of Virginia’s women’s lacrosse player Yeardly Love, the men’s team will do their best attempt to do what the women’s team could not do this year- bring back a championship. UVA’s women’s team was no match to North Carolina’s surging offense in the quarterfinals and the emotional women’s squad season came to an end.
