Music City Melee: The Premiere Nashville Lacrosse Tournament

The Music City Melee is set to be fun, as well as a competitive team tournament. MCM is taking place June 8th-9th directly south of downtown Nashville, TN. Located at Williamson County Soccer Complex, this is central Tennessee’s premiere sporting complex and makes for a great venue (besides turf, this could potentially be the best fields teams play on all year)! Anticipated teams attending come from the Midwest, Southeast, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and more.

This weekend would also be a great time for families to vacation because the CMA’s will be in town (don’t worry The Music City Melee has affiliations with four hotels). Besides this premiere lacrosse tournament, there is much to do in the great city of Nashville and it’s about time a tournament of this caliber was brought to the region.

The different divisions include U11, U13, U15, HS JV, and HS Varsity. Early registration is due by March 1st, and final registration is April 15th. Price is $850 and pays for the best referees in the area, trainers, field operations, rental cost, etc. For more information regarding location, hotels, teams attending, pricing, registration, etc. check out the website (www.musiccitymelee.com). In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
