NALL Announces Team To Play In Giant Center


(HERSHEY, PA) – The North American Lacrosse League announced today that their new team to play in Giant Center starting in January is the Hershey Haymakers.

The Haymakers are the fifth and final team to be announced for the NALL’s 2012 season. They will come against teams from Charlotte, Jacksonville, Louisville, and Wilkes-Barre. Along with the team name and logo, the Haymakers owners, Aaron Musselman, Chip Sanyte, Dr. John Manzella, Ted Glynn, and Tom Cataldo were announced.

“We are excited to have Hershey join the NALL,” said Tony Caruso, commissioner of the league. “We have a strong ownership group and are looking forward to playing at Giant Center.”

The team will play six home games from January to April at Giant Center. The league will consist of the top United States lacrosse players. Players from schools such as John Hopkins, Notre Dame, and Syracuse will be wearing the team uniforms. The College Draft is October 12 at 8:00p.m.

    I like the logo — very unique. Great name, although I would have loved to see them named the Squirts!
