National Blue Chip Elite Girls Lacrosse Announces Dates and Location for First Recruiting Camp


SYOSSET, NY – National Blue Chip Elite, the nation’s premiere girls lacrosse recruitment camp and program, announced today the organization will host its first national comprehensive girls lacrosse recruiting camp. With some of the top Division I, II and III college coaches in attendance, this camp will be held from July 16, 2013 to July 18, 2013, at Ukrop Park Sports Complex, 5300 Ridgedale Parkway, Richmond, VA. The camp offers a unique recruiting opportunity for girls high school lacrosse players to be evaluated by top college coaches and recruiters.

This invitation-only lacrosse camp features a combine, college level drills, leadership sessions and full games with experienced referees. Additionally, the program will offer recruiting sessions for parents and players to learn about the process from the country’s top experts and coaches. The camp will showcase student athletes’ from four different graduating years – rising freshmen, rising sophomores, rising juniors and uncommitted seniors. These players will have the opportunity to highlight their athleticism, their lacrosse skills, lacrosse IQ, talents and abilities in three different settings: NFL style combine, college level drills as well as real game scenarios. For coaches, the National Blue Chip Elite Girls Lacrosse Recruiting Camp provides data, resources and technology within an ideal setting to evaluate the nation’s top girls lacrosse prospects all in one location.

College coaches and recruiters will be able to observe prospects in college level drills and combine testing and experienced refereed lacrosse games. At this camp, athletes will showcase their lacrosse and athletic skills in many ways, unlike other camps that only offer random lacrosse game observation. Boys lacrosse players and college lacrosse coaches have attended camps like this for years and we are now bringing this approach to a whole new level for elite girls lacrosse players and women’s college coaches,” said Coach Sue Murphy, National Director of National Blue Chip Elite and former Team USA Coach and Division I coach.

The National Blue Chip Elite Girls Lacrosse Recruiting Camp will be held at the 45.5 acre Ukrop Park Sports Complex. This environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art sports facility features seven lighted athletic fields utilizing the latest technology in Musco lighting, Sportexe synthetic turf and Bermuda grass fields.
