New Balance website offers chance to create mash-up, win prizes

Ever want something you created to appear on ESPN? Well, here’s your chance.

New Balance has launched a new website where users can create their own mash-up videos of Chazz Woodson. Users can pick and slice video clips, add audio, cool transitions and text to create a mash-up video featuring Woodson and the New Balance 841 training shoe and 700 cleat.

New Balance will be picking weekly winners to win the shoe and the cleat and also Brine lacrosse equipment. One grand prize winner will get a trip for two to the MLL All-Star game in Boston, a New Balance and Brine prize pack, and probably coolest of all, their mash-up airing on ESPN2 during the MLL-All Star game.

Check out the videos that others have made or make your own mash-up at newbalance.com/lax.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
