New England Fall Legacy Elite Showcase 2014 Set To Soar

Lecacy Lacrosse

Legacy Lacrosse is proud to announce the 2014 New England Elite Fall Lacrosse Showcase! Our first year attracted the highest number of college recruiters to any New England Fall event, ever, and we look forward to an even higher caliber event this Fall. Despite the huge amount of interest we have already received, we are not going to change the number of invited participants.

You read that right. There will STILL only be 5 conjoined field turf fields filled with players. There will STILL only be 5 attack, 8midds, 2 LSM, 5D and 2 Goalies for every team. And of course there will STILL be the National Anthem played to kick off the day!

On November 1, 2014, the New England Fall Showcase will be held once again on the Citizen Bank Fields at Progin Park in Lancaster, MA. On Sunday, November 2, the team part of the showcase will be held with 8 of the best programs in the country will be squaring off at the team showcase.

Because of massive interest in the individual showcase, we are going to open the application process up on 6/6. And we will announce acceptance throughout the summer in various stages.

By 8/15 we will have offered out 1/3rd of the 2016 and 1/4 of the 2017 opportunities.

By 9/01 we will have offered out an additional 1/3rd of the 2016 and 1/4 of the 2017 opportunities and 1/2 of the 2018 opportunities

By 9/15 we will have offered out the remaining opportunities in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 classes.

Throughout the summer and fall, we will be accepting applications. Applicants will be permitted one update of their accomplishments per month. The individual showcase is for uncommitted players only. So if invited athletes commit somewhere, we will be offering the spot to someone in our pool of applicants. This was the scene on the sideline at last year’s event. Will they watching you in 11/1/14???

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
