Northeast Uncommitted 250 Lacrosse Recruiting Camp

Ray Megill and his company, Performance Sport Systems, has partnered up with Coach Jason Childs, Shorter University, and his brother Brandon, York College, to bring you the first tournament for UNCOMMITTED Juniors(2014) and Seniors(2013); The Uncommitted 250.

The idea of this event is to bring a team or teams of kids who are still uncommitted and looking for a place to play. That could be JUCO kids, 2013, and 2014. We are not looking to bring Sophomores to this, as it would cloud the event, which we believe is a big issue in recruiting. We prefer 2013s, but we realize that 2014s might want this opportunity as well. However, whoever commits to playing in this event must be uncommitted, so every player is available to the coaches. This will make sure that we can have a great event where coaches want to be there because they know no one is already committed to a college roster.

The event will be held at Mercersburg Academy on October 28th. If you think this might be a good idea for your team or individual players from your team(s), please direct them to the tournament page located here: The Uncommitted 250

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
