Bon Jovi’s son, Jesse Bongiovi, is heading to Notre Dame to play football. But, before he heads to South Bend, he’ll suit up for NYC’s All-Star high school lacrosse game.
New York City’s best high school seniors from the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL), Catholic High
School Athletic Association (CHSAA) and the independent schools will compete for the title of “Best in the
City” in the NYC Mayor’s Cup Lacrosse All-Star Games on Sunday, June 2. In the first game, at 4pm, the
independent school girls all-stars will compete against the PSAL girls all-stars followed by the second
game, at 6pm, featuring the boys independent school all-stars going up against the CHSAA boys allstars. All games will take place at Poly Prep Country Day School, 9216 Seventh Ave., Brooklyn; and admission is free.
The Lacrosse All-Star Games will be the first of four NYC Mayor’s Cup events that will take place in June.
The Softball All-Star Game will be played June 9 at the College of Staten Island, followed by the Baseball
All-Star Game June 15 at Coney Island’s MCU Park and the Cricket All-Star Games at Van Cortlandt
Park June 22.
