The Baltimore Marathon is right around the corner and we’ve put together a good group of runners to represent Lacrosse Playground this year. Yet, we didn’t want to just put on a good show by winning it all this year. No, we wanted to race with a purpose. This year, we are running to raise money for the One Love Foundation in honor of Yeardley Love. And, we need your help with some carbo loading (don’t worry – it’s the good kind).

Come out to George on Friday (tonight), October 5th from 9-11pm to support our two Baltimore Marathon relay teams as we raise money for the One Love Foundation. All you need is $5 at the door, all of which goes to Yeardley’s organization, and you will get hooked up with some drink specials in the way of $4 Bud Light 16oz cans and $4 Tequila and Cokes.

If you would like to make an additional contribution, or if you can’t make it tonight but would still like to kick in 5 bucks to support our cause, you can donate to our team pages at Stephen’s Lacrosse Playground and Jordy’s Lacrosse Playground.

For additional information about how the money we raise is being used, check out One Love foundation.

Help our teams (sponsored by us, Lacrosse Playground) hit our fundraising goal and kick off your weekend with discounted drink specials all while supporting a great organization.Thank you guys in advance for any support and we can’t wait to see everybody tonight at George! Visit the Facebook Event Page for any additional info.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
