Highlights from the Tahoe Men’s Lacrosse Tournament

North Lake Tahoe hosted the Big Foot team and 31 others for the three day Tahoe Men’s Lacrosse Tournament in Incline Village. Connor Martin (Con Bro Chill), Zander Buteux (Denver U) , Julian Coffman (U of Oregon) and many other Duck alumni played for Big Foot. Taylor and Corbett enjoy success in Canadian indoor summer leagues

Both enjoyed success in Canadian indoor (box) lacrosse leagues this summer as they hone their games for their senior seasons at Lehigh. Taylor led the Alberta Jr A League with 80 points in 16 games, leading his Mountaineers to the Alberta Jr A Championship in their ongoing quest for the Minto Cup. US Lacrosse Announces 2014 AED Grant Recipients

BALTIMORE, August 6, 2014 — US Lacrosse is providing AED grants to 33 lacrosse organizations across 21 states to subsidize the cost of acquiring automated external defibrillators (AEDs). The grants, which total over $16,000, are made available through US Lacrosse’s partnership with Cardiac Science, a global leader in the manufacturing of AEDs and other cardiology products and services. NEW YORK –– August 5, 2014 — Last week, John Gagliardi, former professional Lacrosse player and Founder of Titan Tea—an electrolyte-infused, low-calorie tea—visited The Fresh Air Fund’s camp in upstate Fishkill, New York, to hold a lacrosse workshop and healthy living discussion with 9-12 year old boys at Camp Hayden-Marks.
