Palasek Named Cascade Rookie of the Week

Monday July 23, 2012 Major League Lacrosse announced that Lizards Attackman Tommy Palasek was named Cascade Rookie of the Week after his six goal and one assist performance against the Hamilton Nationals. The award is Palasek’s second of the year, the previous coming after a four goal performance after his four goal performance against the Ohio Machine in week 7.

Palasek and the Lizard’s offense scored 19 goals this past weekend and eliminated the Hamilton Nationals from any hopes of making the playoffs, by a score of 19-12. The Lizards play their final home game this Saturday July 28th against former Lizards Matt Danowski and Stephen Berger and the Charlotte Hounds at Hofstra University’s Shuart Stadium. The Lizards will clinch a playoff berth with a Lizards win and a Boston Cannons loss.
