Relief Funds for the Philippines

As many of you know, the Philippines was devastated by Super Typhoon Haiyan (Philippine name: Yolanda) this past weekend. This was recorded to be the worst typhoon in history to make landfall. So far, thousands have lost their lives and survivors have lost their homes and properties and love ones. Communication is still down and many communities are isolated so the total impact is yet to be seen.

The Philippines Lacrosse Association (PLA) in partnership with FCA Philippines will be collecting donations for “Project: HELP PHILIPPINES” Relief Fund. The PLA has also partnered with 14 Graphics and Grow Texas Lacrosse Tour to bring you a “Philippines Strong” t-shirt. All profits from t-shirt sales will go the “Project HELP PHILIPPINES Fund” for Relief efforts.

To make a donation to the “Project: HELP PHILIPPINES” Fund, please go to https://my.fca.org/2721-visitacion-gary-and-grace.aspx.

To purchase a t-shirt to support relief efforts go to http://14graphics.bigcartel.com/product/philippines-strong.

Thank you for your support. Any help will go a long way.

About Philippines Lacrosse Association
The Philippines Lacrosse Association is a non profit (501c3 pending) organization dedicated to developing and growing lacrosse in the Philippines.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
