Prince George’s Women’s Lacrosse Association Brings Diversity To The Sport


There’s an effort underway in Prince George’s County, Md to help more young ladies understand and excel at lacrosse. Ashley Russell, University of Delaware grad and Founder of Prince George’s Women’s Lacrosse Association, is spearheading the initiative. Prince George’s Women’s Lacrosse Association (PGWLA) is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization created to promote women’s lacrosse in Prince George’s County, MD as well as bring diversity to the sport. PGWLA has programs to promote the importance of healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and the steps necessary to gain college acceptance.
