Reebok Adds Explosive Attackman Zack Greer To Lacrosse Roster

CANTON, MA (September 2, 2009) – Reebok is proud to announce the addition of Zack Greer to their growing lacrosse roster. The 3rd overall pick in the 2009 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Draft by the Long Island Lizards, Greer is one of the most explosive players and gifted goal scorers in the world. He is projected by many to be the #1 pick in the 2009 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Draft on September 9th. He joins Reebok’s already stellar line-up of professional lacrosse players including Brodie Merrill, Matt Alrich, Mark Steenhuis and Dan Dawson.

Next summer, Reebok will launch its first line of Zack Greer “88” product, starting with a head and handle which will showcase features and benefits inspired by Zack himself.

Greer’s agent, Lee Southren from Faceoff Sports Management, LLC said of the deal, “Reebok really impressed us with what they had in mind for Zack and how much they wanted him to be part of their roster, which includes some of the best players in the sport. Zack loves the innovation Reebok is bringing to the sport and is looking forward to getting started.”

Greer starred on Duke University’s lacrosse team from 2004 to 2008. While at Duke he excelled both in the classroom and on the field, graduating with a 3.0 GPA. After graduating from Duke, Greer enrolled at Bryant University to pursue an MBA and to complete his fifth year of NCAA eligibility. He won the 2008 Jack Turnbull award as the nation’s Attackman of the Year, and ended his collegiate career as the NCAA’s all-time leading goal scorer. He is currently tied with former Duke teammate and current MLL teammate Matt Danowski for the most points in NCAA lacrosse history.
